this feels like a good moment to pause and reflect.

let's dive in.
𧲠lead magnet of the week
the $10k amazon listing redesign guide by @jacobjan
β
the post:
jacob opened with: "BREAKING: the $10k amazon listing redesign just died." that's a hook that makes agencies nervous and brands curious.
the offer:
a guide showing how AI can do in 15 minutes what agencies charge $10k and 4 weeks for: strategy, research, images, all of it.
why it worked:
β disruption hook: "$10k just died" creates immediate tension. if you're an agency, you're scared. if you're a brand, you're excited. β specific numbers: "$10k", "4 weeks", "15 minutes", "1,000 customer reviews". specificity builds credibility. β two-sided value: he addressed both agencies AND brands. "get replaced or use this as your secret weapon." doubles his audience. β urgency through competition: "12-month head start" and "the rest will be playing catch-up." FOMO without fake scarcity. β clear capability list: reads reviews, analyzes competitors, identifies blockers, builds strategy, generates images. you know exactly what it does.
5,060 comments. that's not luck. that's positioning + timing + a genuinely valuable offer.

π book of the week
4,000 Weeks by Oliver Burkeman
β 20 issues in, i've been thinking about time. β³ oliver burkeman's book starts with a simple calculation: if you live to 80, you have about 4,000 weeks. that's it. not 4,000 years. just weeks.
the productivity trapβ most productivity advice promises you'll "get more done." burkeman argues that's the wrong goal. the more efficient you become, the more you try to cram in. your to-do list expands to fill the time you saved. you're not winning, you're just running faster on the same treadmill.
the finitude principleβ burkeman's insight: you will never do everything. accepting this is freedom. "the real problem isn't that you don't have enough time. it's that you have too many things competing for a limited resource."
how this applies to creatorsβ for 20 weeks, we shipped a newsletter every single week. post breakdowns, book insights, free tools. but here's the truth: quantity doesn't equal impact. some of the best creators post once a month. they go deep instead of wide. they choose what matters instead of doing everything.
the takeawayβ you have 4,000 weeks. how many do you want to spend chasing inbox zero? burkeman would say: do fewer things. do them better. accept that you'll miss out on most things, and that's okay. β and that's the motivation behind what's coming in 2026! βοΈ

2οΈβ£ leadshark update: v1 will be capped at 500 users
a few weeks ago, we made a decision: cap leadshark v1 at 500 users. not because of technical limits. because of something more important: quality. past a certain point, i can't give everyone the personalized support they deserve. no AI chatbots. no generic responses. just me, actually helping.
for newer readers, hereβs a quick reminder of what leadshark does:β β auto-reply to comments on your lead magnet posts β send personalized DMs with your resource β connect with commenters automatically β follow up if they don't respond β track clicks, engagement, and conversions β enrich leads (find emails, filter by ICP) β pages (capture emails before delivering) β schedule posts directly (skip the linkedin feed) β club (see what's working for other creators)
where we're at:β ~130 spots remaining. at current growth, we'll hit 500 by february 2026. if you've been thinking about it, now's the time.

π¬ note from the founder
20 issues.
i started with no specific goal in mind. now we're at 1000+ subscribers and i've learned a lot about lead magnets from leadshark creators.
what's next:
we're slowing down slightly. not stopping, just shifting gears. in 2026, lead magnet club will publish less frequently.
monthly, or maybe bi-weekly. (+ probably a LMC podcast)
one more thing:
over the past months, iβve been working on something new. a different way to think about scheduling time.
most scheduling tools optimize for the booker. weβre building one that protects the host.
it's called intervals βοΈ β if the 4,000 Weeks philosophy resonates with you, if you believe your time shouldn't be treated like a commodity, then you might like what we're building.
