hey club! 🍊

this week's breakdown:

automate your busy work - book analysis.

and a new tool announcement for linkedin voice notes.

let's get going.

πŸ“š book of the week

automate your busywork

the subtitle says it all: do less, achieve more, and save your brain for the big stuff.

the core idea is simple. most of us are drowning in repetitive tasks. the kind of work that feels productive but doesn't actually move anything forward. author calls it "busywork" and has built a whole framework for eliminating it.

the book introduces the automation flywheel:

a three-stage cycle of divide and conquer β†’ design and implement β†’ refine and iterate.

the idea is that once you identify your repetitive workflows, map them out, and automate them with no-code tools, the system compounds. you do less manual work every cycle.

what makes this relevant for lead magnets:
think about what happens after a post goes viral. you get 2,000 comments. then you spend 3 days manually responding, sending DMs, qualifying leads. if your magnet requires manual labor, it’s not leverage. it’s a trap.

here's the framework - applied to lead magnets:

  1. divide. what are the repetitive parts of your lead magnet workflow?
  2. design. what can a system handle? auto-deliver DMs, capture emails, score leads.
  3. refine. measure what's working, iterate, improve. (hint look at post analytics)

this is exactly what leadshark does also. auto-deliver DMs when someone comments. landing pages to capture emails. auto-score leads by ICP criteria (apex). you set it up once and the flywheel keeps going.

(quick note on aytekin himself: he's the founder of jotform. 35 million users, 500 employees, $145M revenue, 100% bootstrapped.)

🦈 leadshark update

πŸ†• post analytics ~ see how your content is performing.

ever wonder how your lead magnets are doing across the board?

leadshark now has: post highlights. ranked by impressions, comments, reactions, reposts, or date (by default).

why this matters: real insights come from seeing the patterns. which magnets get the most comments / reposts? which topics generates the most virality etc.

now you can see all your metrics in one place. content without analytics is just vibe content. automation + analytics is what really compounds.

check it out on β†’ leadshark (by clicking: Post Highlights on Posts page)

πŸ› οΈ new tool for linkedin voice (sending + receiving)

linkedin only lets you send voice messages on mobile.

not ideal if you're on desktop all day.

so i built a chrome extension that β†’ transcribes incoming voice notes + shows key-points.

also recently built: leadshark voice notes.

so that you can send voice notes from directly on desktop.

no more switching to your phone to send a voice note.

and no more listening to a 1-min voice, that could've been a sentence.

just read the transcript or key-points: get a tldr on the voice notes.

β†’ get it here (note: leadshark pro needed for extension to work)
