hey club! 🍊

this week i watched a few posts explode in real-time.

dylan power post about claude cowork reached over 2,000 comments in 8-10 hours.

πŸ₯“ also went live with frank sondors this week. sharing key insights + recording below.

let's get into it.

🧲 lead magnet of the week

the claude cowork prompt pack by dylan power
the hook: "R.I.P outreach agencies and SDR teams. Claude Cowork just launched. It replaced them all."
the numbers:

  • 2,000+ comments (in 10 hours)
  • 380+ reactions

the format:

  • bold claim (polarizing opener)
  • credibility (tested every AI model)
  • specific outcome (emails that feel 1:1)
  • CTA: comment "COWORK" to get the prompt

what's promised:

  • emails that feel 1:1, not copy-pasted
  • subject lines that get opened instantly
  • messages that convert into real conversations
  • zero manual writing or guessing

few reasons why it's great:

  1. relevance β†’ claude cowork literally just launched. first-mover advantage.
  2. bold / polarizing claim β†’ "replaced them all" is polarizing. people click to argue or agree.
  3. domain knowledge β†’ he tested gemini 3, gpt-5.2, llama. shows he did the work.
  4. clear targeting β†’ "if you're still paying 3k+/mo for an outreach agency..."

takeaway:

  • β†’ watch for new releases (anthropic, openai, openclaw)
  • β†’ be first to create resources around it
  • β†’ bold, slightly controversial claim
  • β†’ show improvement over status quo
  • β†’ call out a specific pain point with numbers ($3k/mo)

also the window for "just in time" lead magnets is small. and dylan posted within few hrs of the launch.
speed + specificity + controversy = comment velocity.

πŸ“š what i'm reading

skin in the game by nassim nicholas taleb
(naval ravikant recommends this one.)

"those who talk should do and only those who do should talk."

simple. but it made me uncomfortable.
because i see this everywhere on linkedin. people teaching things they've never done. "experts" with no receipts. advice-givers who don't bear the consequences of being wrong.
taleb has a term for them: "intellectuals yet idiots."

here's the test he proposes:

"don't tell me what you 'think,' just tell me what's in your portfolio."

in other words: what are you actually betting on? what do you stand to lose if you're wrong?
it's also why some lead magnets feel hollow and others feel valuable.

you can sense when someone is just packaging recycled advice versus teaching from real experience.

"courage is the only virtue you cannot fake."

taleb says the most altruistic thing you can do is start a business + put yourself on the line. take the risk, the leap of faith.

because then you have skin in the game, real consequences for being wrong.

+ if you're running lead magnets, you can ask yourself:

  • β†’ have i really used this system?
  • β†’ have i actually gotten these results?
  • β†’ OR did i get these results with another tool?

and if you're not sure. that's ok.
just get in the arena first. 🀺

πŸŽ™οΈ webinar recap: lead magnets that bring in πŸ₯“

last week i went live with frank sondors (CEO of Salesforge).

some stats we looked at:
tuesday > thursday
we assumed thursday was the best day for lead magnets. the data said otherwise. tuesday is #1.
notion won out of 10,000+ lead magnets running, notion is the overwhelming giveaway platform of choice. not gumroad. not google drive. notion. why? the screenshot sells itself. people associate notion with depth / easily visible value.
impressions > comments
frank made a good point: fortune 500 execs won't comment on your lead magnet. but they might see it, screenshot it, and drop it in their team's slack. word of mouth you may never track.
so sometimes you don't need the engagement. you need the reach. + go viral, it won't hurt!

πŸ“Ό β†’ watch the full recording

🎁 ps. our friends at Salesforge.ai (including Frank) are giving Lead magnet club members (and leadshark) one month free on the house with the code: ILOVELEADSHARK 🦈 + for those of you who don’t know about salesforge, it’s a programmatic outreach platform for LinkedIn & cold email.

🦈 leadshark update

icp 2.0 is live.

you can now score any lead against your ideal customer profile.

also instead of guessing who to follow-up with, you can define your ICP once and let leadshark handle the filtering.

so what’s new (pro & pro+):

β†’ create multiple icp presets
define your ideal customer by job title, keywords, location, network size, etc.

β†’ score any lead instantly
open a lead β†’ click β€œICP score” β†’ see a % match + which criteria they pass or fail.

β†’ now in apex: fully automated enrichment
every lead who gets a DM is automatically enriched.
no manual clicks. full linkedin profile stored.

β†’ also apex: smart follow-up control
attach an icp preset to any automation.
non-ICP leads skip the follow-up automatically.
ICP-fit leads continue as normal.

the tangible result:
your follow-ups go only to icp leads = more qualified conversations + booked calls. 🦾

πŸ› οΈ free tool: linkedin voice transcriber

i don't like listening to voice-messages on linkedin (sometimes physically cannot).
so recently built a chrome extension that transcribes + summarizes them. it hopefully will be on google chrome extension store shortly as well, but if interested let me know.

🫑 reply VOICE if you want early access (+ will send the link when launched)

❄️ also ~ time wealth club

if you're into the productivity/calendar side of things, we have a separate newsletter called time wealth club.

this week: stephen covey's time management matrix. why most meetings are urgent but not important. and how to protect time for the things that actually matter.

it's cool β†’ timewealth.club ❄️ (it's the intervals newsletter)

♻️ challenge ~ start your evergreen lead magnet library

🧩 list out just 5 topics you could turn into evergreen lead magnets.
not "just in time" content like dylan's post per se. but content that works still in 6 months.
also it should be content that you are an expert in. or a few things, each targeting specific icps of your business.

πŸŒ€ founder’s note

when i started leadshark, it was simple.

comment β†’ dm β†’ link.

but scale creates a new problem.

what happens when you get 28K leads?

who amongst them are ideal leads?

so icp 2.0 is really about protecting your time.

and it’s not about more leads,
it’s about identifying best leads automatically.

(and if you’re on apex, the system now does exactly this*)

comment β†’ dm β†’ auto icp-filtering β†’ conditional follow-up.

because the follow-ups are where the πŸ₯“ is.

more updates coming soon (especially around follow-ups + Pages)

so stay tuned +

see you on the next one 🫑
ruzgar πŸ¦ˆβ€‹

*manual filtering still possible for pro and pro+ tiers.
